Marta Blue is an art director and creative director situated in Milan.
When and how did your journey as an artist begin?
I started photographing about ten years ago, but in less than one year I learned to create what I feel. This is very important for me because my emotions and my feelings are the basis of what I produce now.

What camera(s) do you prefer to use?
The type of camera has never been too important for me, I photograph something every day and in fact most of the time I use the easiest and fastest way, an iPhone or Yashica minitec. Otherwise, mostly use my heavy Canon 5D markII.
What is your greatest source of inspiration?
I am a very curious person and I take inspiration from everything I see. This sometimes causes me much confusion but is also the source to many ideas. So if I can, I would say that the greatest source of inspiration is my mind and all that it can absorb.

What artists in your field have influenced your work?
In my field absolutely Ryan McGinley and Lauren Tepfer. But I also receive many inspirations from cinema and music, including Sofia Coppola, Lars von Trier, Wim Wenders, Coen, and then Petra Collins, Florence Welch, (…)
