About Kelly Graham

Kelly Graham is a 31 year old film shooter living in Metro Vancouver, British Columbia, with her husband and their two pitbulls. Originally from Michigan, USA, she has been moving around quite a bit since turning 18 (landing more extensively in West Palm Beach, FL, Portland, OR, and Lexington, KY), and shooting film since she was a kid. Kelly shoots at whatever tugs at her heart and prefers to focus on emotion in art over technical skill, and finds her inspiration less in other photography, than visual art, prose, poetry, and memoirs.

INTERNAL: A Collection

Internal is a collection of photos I gathered that was shot from a very personal place. Like many of my photos, there are continuous themes of loneliness and longing and yet in this collection, there is also the beginning of a surging inner strength, self-love, and pride that were all starting to unfold as I was learning to accept the fact that I needed to get sober. This collection tells the story of struggle and fear, yet also falling in love with life and admitting that I wanted more.
